Come and join the fun, immersing yourself in the joys of art making with watercolour and ink. Each week I will bring a project to the group (still life, landscapes, patterns, abstracts, etc) but participants are also encouraged, if they prefer, to pursue their own passions and use me as a resource to support their endeavours. Our focus is on enjoying process in the company of other enthusiasts, learning ways to test and develop your own, unique creative voice. This is a safe space for curious people to join together in play and experimentation in order to find peace and satisfaction through self expression in the visual arts. A starter kit of materials is available for purchase from Sophia for $160.00. Advise by SMS on enrolment if required and payment can be made directly to Sophia in cash or by direct deposit Required Materials Media: Watercolour paints (pans or tubes) White gouache (tube) Black Waterproof Ink Surface: 100% Cotton rich paper/rag in a sketchbook, pad or block A5 or bigger sketchbook for sketching and notes Accessories: Synthetic brushes (round and flat) Dip Pen and nib or waterproof fine liner Kitchen Paper Water jar.
