Need to make your home more energy efficient? Do you want a warmer home this winter?Come along and learn how to stop your house leaking heat this winter, how making a few changes and introducing solar can help reduce your household running costs. The EnviroShop has been operating in Newstead for six years and has developed the tools and skills to advise and assist people in the transition to energy efficient all-electric homes (and cars). We look at real data and analyse the "big picture" first to see where solar, batteries, heat pumps, and electric vehicles can fit in, we can provide referrals to suppliers of related energy efficiency products, and can develop a practical pathway for householders to pursue. The HSC Storm Recovery Team in partnership with Trentham Neighbourhood Centre is offering this workshop as part of series of subsidised workshops focused on: 'Building Resilience and Sustainability in our community'
