Come and join award-winning horticulturalist Craig Castree in a compost and worm farm workshop. He will walk you through the importance of turning kitchen and garden waste into gold for the garden. Craig will also walk you through the importance of having a worm farm and the benefits they provide to your garden, increasing the microbial population in the soil. Craig Castree is a qualified horticulturist with over 40 years experience in growing edible gardens in an urban space. Craig is am passionate about sharing information to help others from making costly and frustrating mistakes, and to ensure they maximise their available space. He is an author of five books, that can help you on your journey to having a productive and attractive garden that has its own ecosystem, reducing your reliance on chemicals to keep it pest free. Craig encourage's everyone to be as organic as they can possibly be, using innovative ways to deter and control pests and diseases naturally. He uses companion plants heavily to encourage pollinators, and predators alike, into gardens to ensure diversity and natural control of pests. Craig Castree latest book Edible Gardening Secrets, shows you how to look after your soil without turning it over, taking a lot of the hard work out of gardening, plus wonderful tips and titbits of information that will solve a lot of those frustrating problems one can encounter as a gardener.
