Description
What is an Edible Garden and how is it different to a vegetable garden? In this workshop Craig will show you how to turn your existing garden into a productive edible garden, using the holes and spaces that you have within your garden to grow edibles—this will out compete the weeds. Craig will show you how doing one thing per day that only takes 5 minutes will have you picking so much food from your garden in under 8 weeks you will wonder why you weren't doing this before. Craig is an award-winning Horticulturist of 45 years’ experienced at growing his own food organically and creating edible gardens. He is a published author of Edible Gardens a Practical Guide, Plant Profiles, A Simple Urban Life, Edible Gardening Secrets, and his latest book Growing & Grafting Fruit Trees for the Aussie Backyard. You will have no doubt seen him on channel 7TWO on Vasilis Garden as one of the regular presenters, or heard him speaking on 3AW, and on 88.3 Southern FM. Now come and see him speak live on edible gardening and how you could be producing your own food organically on your own block or in small spaces. The HSC Storm Recovery Team in partnership with Trentham Neighbourhood Centre is offering this workshop as part of series of subsidised workshops focused on: 'Building Resilience and Sustainability in our community'
