Description

Gentle Hatha Yoga will include some pranayama (breath control), a series of gentle warming of the joints, energising movements like Surya Namaska (Sun Salutations), held postures, deeper stretching and gentle relaxation to conclude class. This is suitable for all students, all ages and all body types. Please expect variety within these classes we will try new things often! Telissa, an experienced teacher of 10 years, began her yoga journey from a strong background in meditation and mindful connection. She pursued her passion to India where she has undertaken many years of experiential study and a formal Masters of Yogic Science (Uttarakhand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya). Her classes are aligned with Eastern asana, pranayama and kriya whilst maintaining a strong focus on alignment, engagement and conscious connection. Telissa’s dedication to a deeper connect creates unique and beautiful practices allowing her students to find, feel and express themselves.
