Discover the art of Amigurumi crochet. Presenter Alison Acevedo will guide you through the basics and help you create a gorgeous turtle using just a hook and yarn. Crochet can develop your patience, decrease depression, increase serotonin, increase your confidence and allow you to express your creativity. This two week course is suitable for beginners, or people with some crochet experience. The first session will concentrate on basic crochet stitches and techniques. The second will use those new skills to start creating your turtle. Crochet hook and wool provided, this is your chance to learn how to create these beautiful animals. Come and enjoy the company and learn a new skill. The course is $50 for the two sessions, plus $20 for materials
