Current Affairs Discussion Group

Participants bring in their own topics for discussion. A member introduces and provides background on their topic and then facilitator opens up the topic for discussion by the group. Topics may include a diverse range of subjects from local and international news, social justice and contemporary issues, mainstream media, social & digital media, technology, culture & lifestyle, health, education, human rights, science - the list is endless.  

Members are encouraged to have a tolerance of other points of view and to bring a sense of humour!
